Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients aged 65 years or older, with an American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status grade <=III, and scheduled for a three-port (neck, thorax, and abdomen) partial esophagectomy were included.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of mental illness, cognitive impairment, or inability to comprehend assessment tools; 2. History of neurological or psychiatric disorders; 3.Brain or scalp injuries; 4.Substance abuse (including drugs/alcohol); 5.Visual/hearing impairments or communication difficulties; 6.Metal implants, skin lesions, or hypersensitivity to surface electrodes; 7.Severe cardiovascular disease or significant liver/renal dysfunction; 8.Concurrent participation in other clinical trials.
