Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient enrollment is based on the principle of voluntariness, and an informed consent form must be signed; 2. Thermal burn patients (flame burns or scalds); 3. Aged 18–65 years, both sexes eligible; 4. TBSA >=50%; 5. Admission within 12h after burns.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Discharge within 48h after burns; 2. Patients with gastric ulcer, gastric bleeding, or gastrointestinal perforation; 3. Patients with diabetes mellitus; 4. Acute or chronic hepatic insufficiency (Child–Pugh grade C or above); 5. Severe cardiac insufficiency (left ventricular ejection fraction <=30 %); 6. Pregnant or lactating women; 7. Patients with chronic kidney disease: glomerulonephritis, immune-mediated renal disorders, etc. 8. Patients with psychiatric or severe cognitive disorders (lacking insight or unable to communicate reliably); 9. Patients with malignant tumors.
