Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Elderly patients (regardless of gender) who are scheduled for elective open reduction or closed reduction and internal fixation due to a fracture of one hip; 2) Patients with a classification of American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade ? - ?; 3) Patients aged >= 65 years; 4) Patients who voluntarily sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Polytrauma patients with associated injuries; 2) Chronic preoperative opioid users; 3) Infection or deformity at the puncture site; 4) Peripheral nerve injury; 5) Coagulation disorders; 6) Intellectual disability; 7) History of allergy to amide-type local anesthetics; 8 )Alcohol or psychoactive substance dependency; 9) Inability to comprehend or perform pain assessment using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) or Mini-Mental State Examination.
