Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with herpes zoster (HZ) will be recruited and screened at the Fifth People's Hospital of Chengdu. The clinical diagnosis of HZ and PHN should follow the diagnostic criteria of Dermatology and Venereology and the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP). At the same time, 30 healthy controls matched by age and gender were recruited. Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria; 2. Age over 20 years old, gender not limited, Han ethnicity, right-handed. 3.PHN group: Persistent pain at the original site after herpes healing for more than 1 month, VAS score >=5; 4.HC Group: During the same period, the physical examination center recruited healthy volunteers who were matched in terms of gender, age, and physical condition. They had no chronic pain, major mental illness, neurological disorders, abnormal brain structure, history of alcohol or drug abuse, and no obvious cerebral infarction or significant head movement. 5. Sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria 1.History of malignant tumors, intracranial infections, epilepsy or cerebrovascular diseases; 2. Mental illness (HADS Anxiety/Depression Scale > 11 points); 3. Drug use or long-term (> 3 months) use of anesthetic, sedative or analgesic drugs; 4. History of diabetic neuropathy or spinal surgery; 5. MRI contraindications (claustrophobia, metal implants in the body). 6. Pregnant women, lactating women or those suspected of being pregnant; Note: Any patient who meets any of the above conditions will be excluded.
