Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for the ADHD group: 1. Age 4 years and 0 months to 9 years and 11 months. 2. A qualified doctor must make a clear diagnosis of ASD based on DSM-5 standards. 3. Children’s Autism Rating Scale (CARS) total score =30 points. 4. The main medication/rehabilitation regimen has remained stable in the past 3-6 months. 5. The guardian signs a written informed consent form. Healthy control group: 1. Age 4 years and 0 months to 9 years and 11 months. 2. All indicators have been checked and found to be normal.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ASDgroup: 1. Confirmed single gene disease or genetic syndrome that causes ASD symptoms. 2. Uncontrolled epilepsy. 3. Special dietary therapies (such as GFCF, ketogenic, etc.) are being strictly implemented. 4. Systemic antibiotics or systemic steroids have been used in the past month; 5. If psychiatric drugs are being used, the following conditions must be met: within the past 1 month (for antipsychotic drugs such as risperidone and aripiprazole) or within the past 3 months (for antidepressant/anti-anxiety drugs such as SSRIs), the main types and dosages of psychiatric drugs have remained stable without major adjustments. 6. Severe allergic to ingredients of known intervention products. Healthy control group: 1. Hearing or vision abnormalities; 2. Past or current psychiatric disorders; 3. Serious physical illnesses, neurological abnormalities, or consciousness disorders; 4. History of psychiatric medication use.
