Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. No restrictions on age or gender; 2. Clinically diagnosed with drug-refractory epilepsy and planned to undergo SEEG evaluation; 3. Agree to participate in the study and sign a written informed consent form; 4. Those whose SEEG implanted electrodes cover the temporal lobe, frontal lobe, insula, or language-related brain regions are preferred for inclusion.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Those with obvious cognitive impairment or mental disorders who are unable to complete tasks or have difficulty understanding task instructions; 2. Those with severe hearing impairment who cannot normally perceive auditory stimuli; 3. Subjects whose epileptic seizures are induced by auditory stimuli. 4. Those who develop postoperative complications (such as intracranial hemorrhage, infection) that affect the safety of the study; 5. Those who cannot cooperate in completing language and auditory tasks while awake or under anesthesia; 6. Pregnant or lactating women; 7. Other situations that the researchers consider inappropriate for participation in the study.
