Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients with portal hypertension who have a confirmed etiology of liver cirrhosis (including HBV, HCV, cholestatic, and autoimmune hepatitis, etc.), and are older than 18 years of age. (2) For some patients who need to undergo transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) surgery: no history of hepatic encephalopathy prior to TIPS surgery; the same type of Vitorr covered stent (Gore, USA) with consistent diameter is used during the TIPS procedure. (3) Complete clinical case data, with no loss of imaging data and follow-up related materials.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Having contraindications to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examination. (2) Severe coagulation dysfunction and uncontrolled intrahepatic or systemic infection (3) Complicated with renal insufficiency. (4) Complicated with severe right heart failure as well as moderate to severe pulmonary hypertension. (4) Patients with other critical illnesses and those with incomplete medical record data collection. (5) For some patients who need to undergo transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) surgery: A history of hepatic encephalopathy prior to TIPS surgery.
