Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age at diagnosis of diabetes >=18, but < 40

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Clinically diagnosed with type 1 diabetes mellitus, with autoantibodies, insulin, or C-peptide levels at enrollment still supporting the original diagnosis. 2. Hyperglycemia with identifiable secondary causes, such as Cushing's syndrome or pheochromocytoma.
