Interventions
Control Group:Patients in the experimental group underwent H-UPPP surgery under general anesthesia.
Control Group:Routine conservative treatments, including weight control, smoking and alcohol cessation, and sleeping in the lateral position at night.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >= 18 years old and 30 events/h). 3. With a confirmed diagnosis of depressive disorder. 4. The experimental group met the surgical indications for H-UPPP, which was predicted by using the Friedman classification or TCM surgical efficacy scoring prediction system. 5. Written informed consent was obtained from the patients and their family members.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Complicated with stroke, Alzheimer’s syndrome, and other diseases that may cause cognitive decline or central nervous system diseases. 2. Complicated with other sleep disorders other than obstructive sleep apnea . 3. A history of alcoholism or illicit drug abuse. 4. Patients with severe depressive disorder. 5. Patients with functional diseases of vital organs.
