Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years; 2. Undergoing major surgery (duration >=2 hours) and admitted to the intensive care unit postoperatively.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Acute kidney injury within the previous 3 months; 2. End-stage renal disease (CKD stage 5) with dialysis dependence or renal transplantation; 3. Death within 24 h after surgery.
