Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with epilepsy by the chief physician of the pediatric outpatient department of our hospital in accordance with the diagnostic guidelines for epilepsy; 2. >=80 points on the Wechsler Intelligence Test for Children (Revised Edition 2 of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children in China); 3. Informed consent of the patient and his/her guardian; 4. Communicate harmoniously with the evaluators and be able to cooperate to complete the tests; 5. Has not taken any psychotropic drugs; 6. There have been no epileptic seizures after taking the medication regularly.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. External factors and organic diseases affecting attention during assessment, such as fasting, cold, fever, severe insomnia, rhinitis, or asthma; 2. Factors affecting hearing or vision, such as otitis media, strabismus, or schizophrenia; 3. Obvious organic lesions detected by cranial CT or MRI.
