Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age and Data: Age at first visit (baseline) ranged from 3 to 18 years, with complete examination data including axial length and subjective refraction. 2.Follow-up Duration: Follow-up period was >=1 year, adhering to a review frequency of at least once every 1-2 years. 3.Diagnosis of High Myopia: Spherical equivalent (SE) <= -6.00 diopters.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Non-axial myopia attributable to corneal or lenticular origins. 2.Ocular diseases associated with visual dysfunction (e.g., nystagmus, glaucoma, cataract, retinal detachment, macular or peripheral retinal pathologies). 3.Systemic diseases affecting ocular health, history of ocular trauma, or history of surgeries that influence refractive status (e.g., refractive surgery, intraocular lens implantation, vitrectomy). 4.Having received other myopia control interventions (e.g., orthokeratology, low-concentration atropine) in the study eye during the follow-up period.
