Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age of onset >=60 years old; (2) Meeting the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for depressive disorder; (3) HAMD-17 score >=17; (4) Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9)>=10; (5) Primary school education or above, able to understand the content of the scale; (6) MOCA scale < 26; (7) Written informed consent was obtained from the patient or his family members.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Mini-mental state examination (MMSE) was positive; (2) Depression caused by other systemic diseases and organic brain lesions were excluded; (3) Patients with previous cranial disease, brain injury, seizures and other nervous system diseases were excluded. (4) A history of serious systemic diseases such as cardiovascular system, respiratory system, and immune system was excluded. (5) Excluding the history of alcohol and morphine abuse; (6) Excluding metal implants such as dentures, arterial clips, pacemakers or metal fixators in the body.
