Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 18-70; 2.Preoperative fine-needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy confirmed PTC; 3.The clinical staging is cT1-3N1bM0 (AJCC 8th edition); 4.Imaging studies suggest ipsilateral cervical lateral region (regions II-V) lymph node metastasis, with the largest diameter of the metastatic lymph nodes being <=2.0cm, and no signs of extensive extracranial invasion.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Previous history of neck surgery or radiotherapy; 2.extensive fusion, fixation, or invasion of important blood vessels and nerves in the lateral cervical lymph nodes; 3.concurrent active malignancies in other systems; 4.pregnant or lactating women; 5.individuals with mental illness or cognitive impairment who are unable to cooperate with the assessment.
