Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients scheduled to undergo total knee replacement under spinal anesthesia; 2.Age >= 65 years; 3.ASA grade I–III; 4.BMI 16–30 kg/m².

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.History of psychiatric disorders. 2.Communication barriers due to impaired consciousness or hearing loss. 3.Poorly controlled hypertension and/or hyperglycemia. 4.Coagulation dysfunction. 5.Sequelae of severe cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases. 6.Pre-existing sleep disturbances, with a Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) score >= 7. 7.Comorbid sleep apnea or moderate-to-severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea-Hypopnea Syndrome (OSAHS). 8.Contraindications to cheek acupuncture (e.g., facial skin lesions/infections, bleeding tendency,metal allergy).
