Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Inclusion criteria for the violent group: 1. Inpatients or outpatients who meet the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia in ICD-10; 2. At least junior high school education; 3. Age 18-45 years old; 4. Right-handed; 5. Self-reported and confirmed by family members that violent behavior occurred at least twice in the past six months; 6. MOAS weighted total score = 4 points; 7. Willing to participate in this study and sign the informed consent form; (2) Inclusion criteria for the non-violent group: 1. Inpatients or outpatients who meet the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia in ICD-10; 2. At least junior high school education; 3. Age 18-45 years old; 4. Right-handed; 5. No violent behavior in the past six months; 6. MOAS weighted total score < 4 points; 7. Willing to participate in this study and sign the informed consent form; (3) Inclusion criteria for the high-risk violent group: 1. Inpatients or outpatients who meet the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia in ICD-10; 2. At least junior high school education; 3. Age 18-45 years old; 4. Right-handed; 5. HCR-20 total score = 30 points; 6. Willing to participate in this study and sign the informed consent form;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclusion criteria include severe heart, liver, kidney, blood, digestive and nervous system diseases. 2. Exclusion criteria also include mental retardation, substance dependence, and organic mental disorders. 3. Acute phase patients are included, while those with negative symptoms are excluded: PANSS negative symptom subscale score = 21 points, and at least 1 point higher than the PANSS positive symptom subscale score. 4. No medication was taken before MRI scan. Those who have recently taken benzodiazepines or antiepileptic mood stabilizers (calculated based on five half-lives of the drug) are excluded.
