Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age between 20 and 65 years; 2.No habitual consumption of beetroot or beetroot-related foods/supplements (less than once per week); 3.No history of allergy to beetroot or beetroot-derived products. 4.Agree to sign the informed consent form, and cooperate with the collection of saliva, feces, and blood samples.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Previously diagnosed with diabetes, liver or kidney diseases, or hypotension. 2.Long-term use of prebiotics/probiotic supplements (more than once a week). 3.Long-term use of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, or immunosuppressants. 4.Pregnant or lactating women.
