Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Neonates with a confirmed diagnosis of necrotising enterocolitis (NEC) based on clinical and ancillary investigations; 2. Complete clinical and imaging documentation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Poor image quality; 2. Paediatric patients with concomitant gastrointestinal disorders confirmed by surgical intervention and pathological examination.
