Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Diagnostic criteria: Comply with the diagnostic criteria of the "Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute Ischemic Stroke", and be confirmed by head MRI+DWI and digital subtraction angiography. 2.Age range: 40 to 85 years old; 3.Blood routine, liver and kidney function, blood lipid, coagulation, procalcitonin and other tests should be completed within 24 to 48 hours after admission; 4.After admission, a complete digital subtraction angiography (DSA) assessment showed that at least one side of the internal carotid artery had mild or moderate atherosclerotic stenosis or no obvious stenosis (as the control group).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Cardiogenic cerebral embolism and ischemic stroke of other etiologies; 2.Previous history of carotid artery stenting or endarterectomy; 3.Diseases that affect inflammatory indicators, such as severe infections, tumors, hematological diseases, autoimmune diseases, and severe liver and kidney failure; 4.DSA examination revealed severe stenosis or occlusion of the internal carotid artery; 5.Glucocorticoids or potent anti-inflammatory drugs were used upon admission; 6.The clinical data is incomplete.
