Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.All patients met the diagnostic criteria for stroke revised at the 4th National Cerebrovascular Disease Conference of the Chinese Medical Association in 1995 and were confirmed by cranial CT or MRI; 2.First-time onset, age < 70 years. 3.Patients were in a relatively stable condition, conscious, provided personal consent, and were able to actively cooperate with the examination. 4.All patients had unilateral limb dysfunction (hemiplegia), within 48 hours of onset, presenting with a single episode of unilateral cortical/subcortical infarction (confirmed by imaging), an NIHSS score of 6-20, and a Fugl-Meyer Assessment score for the hemiplegic limb < 50 (indicating moderate to severe motor impairment).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Hearing comprehension and cognitive impairments; 2. Peripheral neuropathy caused by drug-induced damage, chemical injury, radiation damage, heavy metal poisoning, diabetes, chronic alcohol consumption, or severe peripheral vascular disease; 3. Spinal cord or radicular cervical spondylosis; severe lumbar disc herniation affecting the spinal cord; 4. Mononeuropathy (e.g., carpal tunnel syndrome); 5. Joint subluxation; 6. Localised nerve injury resulting from limb deformity or trauma; 7. Severe cardiac, hepatic, or renal insufficiency; 8. Patient or family refusal to consent to enrolment; 9. Patients unable to attend follow-up appointments.
