Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged over 18 years, gender not restricted 2. Diagnosis of type 2 diabetes must meet the criteria for disease code E11 in ICD-10 3. Received treatment at Southern Medical University Shenzhen Hospital between April 2019 and April 2022 4. Able to communicate independently, with no mental disorders

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with a history of conditions known to interfere with bladder or sphincter function (e.g., prostate cancer or bladder cancer, and prior genitourinary surgery) 2. Diabetic patients deemed unsuitable for this study by the investigator 3. Acute diabetic metabolic complications including ketoacidosis or hyperosmolar hyperglycaemic syndrome 4. Patients with severe functional impairment of vital organs such as the brain, heart, or lungs.
