Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients scheduled for painless colonoscopy, aged 18-65 years; 2. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade I-II; 3. No anticholinergic drugs, opioid analgesics or gastrointestinal motility regulators have been used in the past two weeks; 4. Written informed consent was obtained prior to participation in the study; 5. Body mass index (BMI) 18-30 kg/m^2.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Special populations, such as pregnant women, patients with psychiatric disorders, or patients unable to cooperate with treatment; 2. Patients with severe respiratory, circulatory, or endocrine diseases, as well as those with abnormal liver or renal function; 3. Patients with preoperatively intractable abdominal pain or known intestinal motility disorders; 4. Patients with skin lesions or local infections, which render percutaneous electrical stimulation unfeasible; 5. Patients with allergy or intolerance to electrical stimulation therapy.
