Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 18-85 years; 2.DOC patients diagnosed with vegetative state/unresponsive wakefulness syndrome (VS/UWS) or minimally conscious state (MCS) by CRS-R; 3.Intact skin at the stimulation site; 4.Stable vital signs; 5.Informed consent obtained and signed by family members.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Active elevated intracranial pressure; 2.Intracranial metal implants, implanted cardiac pacemakers, or cochlear implants; pregnancy or lactation; 3.History of alcohol/substance abuse or neuropsychiatric disorders; 4.Uncontrolled epilepsy patients who have taken antiepileptic drugs within the past month; 5.Use of general anesthetics (e.g., propofol) or central sedatives (e.g., benzodiazepines, opioids).
