18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged between 18 and 75 years; 2.Scheduled for elective surgery (e.g., abdominal, thoracic, orthopedic surgery), with expected moderate to severe postoperative pain and potential opioid use included in the postoperative pain management plan; 3. Clear consciousness (MMSE score >= 24, excluding cognitive impairment), with basic reading and comprehension abilities to independently complete the questionnaire (see Appendix 3 for MMSE scoring details); 4. Voluntarily participate in the study and sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of mental illness (e.g., depression, anxiety disorder, diagnosed by psychiatry department); 2. History of long-term opioid use (continuous use > 1 month) or drug dependence; 3.Complicated with severe hepatic or renal insufficiency (Child-Pugh Class C), respiratory dysfunction (e.g., severe COPD), or other diseases that may affect belief assessment; 4. Presence of language communication disorders (e.g., aphasia, hearing impairment) or refusal to participate in retesting.
