Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Inclusion criteria for the hypertension group: Age 40-70 years old, gender not limited; 2.It meets the diagnostic criteria for essential hypertension as stipulated in the "Chinese Hypertension Prevention and Control Guidelines (Revised Edition 2024)" : without taking antihypertensive drugs, the systolic blood pressure is >=140 mmHg and/or the diastolic blood pressure is >=90 mmHg in three measurements on different days. Or have a clear history of hypertension in the past and are currently receiving regular antihypertensive drug treatment; 3.The course of hypertension is >=1 year; 4.Be capable of cooperating to complete all MRI scans and neuropsychological evaluations; 5.I have given informed consent and signed a written informed consent form; Inclusion criteria for the healthy control group: age and gender matched with the hypertension group, no history of hypertension, not taking any cardiovascular active drugs, and blood pressure measured three times on different days was <140/90 mmHg each time; no subjective history of cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, or neurological diseases; no clinically significant structural or functional abnormalities found on electrocardiogram, routine cardiac ultrasound, or brain MRI examinations.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Left ventricular ejection fraction < 50%; 2.There are structural heart diseases (such as moderate to severe valvular heart disease, hypertrophic/dilated cardiomyopathy, congenital heart disease, etc.); 3.There is clinical evidence of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease (such as previous myocardial infarction, history of coronary stent implantation or bypass, and non-invasive examination suggesting severe myocardial ischemia); 4.There are significant arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation and frequent premature beats, which affect the analysis of CMR-FT images; 5. There is a history of cardiac implant or cardiac surgery.
