Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient between 18 and 70 years of age, invasive breast cancer confirmed by core biopsy; 2. cT1-3N1-2M0, axillary node positivity confirmed by core biopsy or needle cytology; 3. Placement of a clip in the proven positive axillary node befor NACT and converted to cN0 after NACT; 4. TAD successfully performed and pathology shows pN0; 5. Signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Axillary node positivity not pathologically confirmed before NACT; 2. Inflammatory breast cancer or M1 disease at presentation; 3. No clip placed befor NACT or remains cN1 after NACT; 4. TAD unsuccessful or pathology shows pN+; 5. Other physical or mental conditions deemed unfit for the study; 6. Pregnant or lactating women; 7. Informed consent form not signed.
