Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Children aged 0–18 years; 2.Diagnosed with vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) confirmed by imaging studies; 3.Diagnostic criteria for UTI: at least one of the following conditions must be met: (1) Typical clinical symptoms + laboratory support Clinical symptoms (at least one): fever (>=38°C), frequent urination, urgency, dysuria, lower abdominal pain, or flank pain; Laboratory support (at least one): positive urine leukocytes (urinalysis WBC >=10/µL or microscopy >=5/HPF), hematuria, or positive urine culture (>=10^5 CFU/mL of a single pathogen). (2) Special presentations in neonates and infants Abnormal body temperature (high fever or unstable temperature), feeding difficulties, vomiting, poor appetite, irritability, or lethargy, accompanied by a positive urine culture; 4.Informed consent obtained from the legal guardian, voluntary participation, and ability to complete follow-up and related examinations.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Presence of other severe urinary tract structural abnormalities or congenital malformations (e.g., bladder exstrophy, hypospadias); 2.Primary or secondary immunodeficiency disorders; 3.Severe chronic underlying diseases (e.g., malignancy, severe cardiac, hepatic, or renal dysfunction); 4.Incomplete follow-up data or inability to complete follow-up as planned; 5.Current participation in other interventional clinical trials or studies that may affect the outcomes of this study.
