Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria include adult patients (aged =18 years) who are diagnosed as cardiogenic shock following acute myocardial infarction and scheduled to undergo venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VA-ECMO) with or without levosimendan.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with stroke, previous percutaneous coronary intervention or coronary artery bypass grafting and those who died within 24 hours after being admitted to hospital are excluded from the study.
