Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria for Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease: 1. Structural or functional abnormalities of the kidneys due to any cause lasting >=3 months, including markers of kidney damage (albuminuria, abnormal urine sediment, renal tubule-related lesions, abnormal histopathology, or abnormal imaging findings) or a history of kidney transplantation, with or without decreased glomerular filtration rate (GFR); or unexplained GFR reduction [=3 months. 2. Age>=18 years. 3. Ability to understand and comply with the study procedures and methods, voluntary participation in the study, and provision of written informed consent. Inclusion Criteria for Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: 1. Previous confirmed diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus; newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes must meet the diagnostic criteria of the Chinese Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (2020 Edition). 2.Age >=18 years. 3. Ability to understand and comply with the study procedures and methods, voluntary participation in the study, and provision of written informed consent. Healthy Controls: Individuals aged >=18 years without confirmed diseases, who agree to participate in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria for the Chronic Kidney Disease Group: Malignancy, acute infectious diseases, chronic urinary tract infections, urinary tract stones, cirrhosis, congestive heart failure, pregnancy. Exclusion Criteria for the Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Group: Type 1 diabetes mellitus, other secondary diabetes (e.g., steroid-induced diabetes), malignancy, acute infectious diseases, chronic urinary tract infections, urinary tract stones, cirrhosis, congestive heart failure, pregnancy.
