Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients underwent emergency rib CT examinations due to chest trauma and were older than 18 years; 2.Images were free of significant artifacts, with no missing data, and the scanning coverage was comprehensive; 3.Medical reports, clinical information, and diagnostic results were complete and clearly documented.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with old costal cartilage fractures or tumors in the costal cartilage region; 2.Patients with congenital diseases such as thoracic deformities; 3.Patients with a history of surgery or implants involving the costal cartilage area.
