Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Experimental group: (1)Adolescents aged 8–18 years diagnosed with idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) by a physician; (2)with normal body mass index (18.5–23.9 kg/m^2) and no associated complications; (3)All participants met surgical indications based on standing posterior-anterior radiographs showing a Cobb angle of the primary curve >40° and Risser sign >=3°, and underwent posterior scoliosis correction surgery. 2.Control group: (1)Patients with traumatic burst fractures, disc herniation, and spondylolisthesis who underwent posterior surgery by the same orthopaedic surgeon during the same period at the same hospital.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with neurological disorders, musculoskeletal conditions, prior spinal surgery, tumours, or any other health issues or illnesses that may interfere with study results, as well as those refusing to participate in this research, shall be excluded.
