Interventions

CR group:Subjects were supplemented with 1 pack of creatine powder (intake of 3g creatine monohydrate) 30min before daily training and trained in combination with resistance exercise program.
PL group:The same amount of maltodextrin placebo as CR group was supplemented daily, and the time point was consistent with creatine group.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 18–24 years. 2.Resistance-training experience < 1 year (<3 sessions per week). 3. No creatine, creatine-containing supplements, or hormone drugs within the 3 months before the study. 4.BMI 18.5–24.0 kg/m².

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Presence of definite exercise contraindications or any disorder that could interfere with the training program. 2.Vegan diet or known hypersensitivity to creatine. 3.Chronic conditions such as abnormal liver/kidney function, diabetes, or hypertension.
