Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >=65 years 2.American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification I–III 3. Preoperative blood and urine tests, liver and kidney function, and blood electrolytes are within normal range 4. The patient has a gastrointestinal tumor and agrees to the anesthesia method of combined spinal and general anesthesia
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pre-operative history of defined neurological or psychiatric disorders, or long-term use of sedatives or antidepressants; 2. Presence of contraindications for spinal puncture; 3. History of alcohol abuse or substance dependence; 4. Severe visual or auditory impairment; 5. History of haemorrhagic or embolic cerebrovascular disease; 6. Inability to cooperate with cognitive function testing.
