Conditions

Obese women

Interventions

Control group (NC):No exercise intervention, maintain existing lifestyle habits.
High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT):Perform treadmill exercise at 80%-85% of maximum oxygen uptake intensity for 2 minutes, followed by activity at 30% maximum oxygen uptake intensity for 1 minute
Resistance Training Group (RT):Follow a resistance training program targeting major muscle groups, performing 8-12 repetitions per set for 3 sets, with 1-2 minutes of rest between sets.
High-Intensity Interval Combined Resistance Training Group (H++R):Combining HIIT and RT training, each session includes 15 minutes of HIIT and 15 minutes of resistance training.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. No cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension or heart disease; 2. No regular exercise in the past 6 months, defined as <60 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity per week based on self-reported physical activity questionnaires; 3. No recent use of weight-loss medications or drugs affecting cardiovascular function; 4. No musculoskeletal system issues; 5. No family history of obesity. This study primarily investigates the impact of exercise on the health of obese women; men are excluded to eliminate hormonal influences.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension or heart disease; 2. Regular exercise within the past 6 months, defined as =60 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity per week based on self-reported physical activity questionnaires; 3. Recent use of weight-loss medications or drugs affecting cardiovascular function; 4. Presence of musculoskeletal disorders preventing exercise; 5. Family history of obesity or current use of weight-loss medications; 6. Pregnant or breastfeeding.
