Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Food Allergy (FA) group: Infants diagnosed with "food allergy" by a senior specialist in child health care, based on clinical history from hospital or outpatient records after birth and/or parental reports, following an elimination diet of suspected foods by the mother; Control group (Healthy Control, HC): Infants with no prior diagnosis of food allergy, atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, or any other allergic disease. Both groups must meet the following inclusion criteria 2–8: 2. Infants aged 1–6 months at initial enrollment, exclusively breastfed; 3. Have not yet started any complementary feeding; 4. Term infants (gestational age >= 37 weeks and <= 42 weeks); 5. No congenital major heart disease, congenital gastrointestinal malformation, congenital hepatic or renal disease, congenital neurological disorder, or inherited metabolic disorder; 6. Permanent residents with Chongqing household registration (hukou); 7. Parents or guardians have signed the informed consent form and voluntarily agree to participate in follow-up; 8. Good compliance, capable of accurately recording dietary diaries.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Hospitalization during the neonatal period exceeding 30 days; 2. Development of a serious illness or chronic disease, or undergoing major surgery during follow-up.

| Physical measurements, including weight, length, and head circumference; if length is below the 3rd percentile, crown-rump length is additionally measured.;Dietary and questionnaire assessments include: breastfeeding status, maternal dietary intake (including food avoidance), maternal and infant nutritional supplementation, maternal nutritional status (weight change, anemia, etc.), infant complementary feeding (types and texture), infant probiotic and antibiotic use, and maternal and infant illness history.;Infant allergy-related symptom assessment includes: skin symptoms evaluated using the SCORAD score, and gastrointestinal and other symptoms evaluated using the modified Comiss score.; | — |
