Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patient Inclusion Criteria: 1. A definitive hospital diagnosis of dementia; 2. Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR) score of 1 (mild dementia) to 2 (moderate dementia); 3. Aged 60 years or above; 4. Informed consent and voluntary participation in the study. Caregiver Inclusion Criteria: 1. Primary informal caregiver or formal care provider for the patient; 2. Aged >=18 years with >= 3 months caregiving duration; 3. Familiar with the patient's daily communication patterns; 4. Informed consent and voluntary participation in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient: Suffers from severe cognitive impairment, hearing impairment, and language communication difficulties; educational attainment at primary school level or below. Carer: Suffers from severe cognitive impairment, hearing impairment, and language communication difficulties.
