Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Normal Subjects 1. Underwent cranial magnetic resonance imaging at Beijing Children's Hospital, Capital Medical University between June 2019 and June 2025; 2. Aged over 3 years and under 18 years (subdivided into three subgroups: 3–6 years, 6–12 years, and 12–18 years); 3. Complete documentation, including history of neurological disorders and head MRI findings; 4. No evident intracranial abnormalities on cranial MRI; Epilepsy patients 5. Confirmed diagnosis of drug-resistant epilepsy; 6. Underwent SEEG implantation at Beijing Children's Hospital, Capital Medical University between June 2019 and June 2025; 7. Aged over 3 years and under 18 years (subdivided into three subgroups: 3–6 years, 6–12 years, 12–18 years); 8. Complete documentation, including history of neurological disorders, cranial MRI findings, and post-SEEG three-dimensional thin-slice CT data; 9. Interictal and ictal EEG signals recorded during the SEEG monitoring period;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Normal subjects 1. Assessed as left-handed following a dominant hand evaluation; 2. Family history of hereditary psychiatric disorders or neurological diseases; Epilepsy patients 3. Assessed as left-handed via dominant hand evaluation; 4. Family history of hereditary psychiatric disorders or neurological diseases (excluding epilepsy); 5. MRI demonstrating definite brain space-occupying lesions, with postoperative pathology confirming tumour.
