Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for Part II: 1. Age >= 60 years; 2. Resided in Fuzhou urban communities for >= 6 months; 3. Able to communicate normally and comprehend questionnaire content. Inclusion criteria for Part III: 1. Age >= 60 years; 2. Residence in Fuzhou urban communities for >= 6 months; 3. Ability to communicate effectively and comprehend manual content; 4. No cognitive impairment (Montreal Cognitive Assessment [MoCA] score =5, who demonstrate willingness to learn about sleep health knowledge and are able to cooperate in completing the handbook usage and subsequent assessments.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for Part II: 1. Individuals with cognitive impairment or mental disorders; 2. Those with severe physical illnesses unable to undergo assessment; 3. Elderly individuals with visual or hearing impairments. Exclusion criteria for Part III: 1. Individuals with severe psychiatric disorders or physical illnesses preventing cooperation with interventions; 2. Elderly individuals who have recently undergone other sleep-related interventions; 3. Elderly individuals with visual, hearing, or speech impairments; 4. Elderly individuals on long-term antidepressants, sedatives , psychoactive medications , or with alcohol dependence; 5. Any other form of sleep disorder, such as sleep apnoea or restless legs syndrome; 6. Elderly individuals presenting depressive symptoms.
