Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: OSA patients: apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) >= 5 COPD patients: post-bronchodilator pulmonary function test showing FEV1/FVC 18 years and < 80 years, education level at least junior high school or above, able to cooperate and complete all assessments
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with severe cardiovascular diseases, liver or kidney failure, recent strokes, or dementia; 2. Patients with severe infections or mental disorders; 3. Patients who are heavy drinkers or have a history of long-term alcohol consumption, or those taking sedatives or hypnotics; 4. Patients with serious conditions such as malignant tumors and undergoing relevant drug treatments; 5. Patients who have undergone any treatment (including weight loss, medication, oral appliances, continuous positive airway pressure ventilation, etc.); 6. Patients unable to cooperate with the assessment; 7. Patients with endocrine disorders such as hyperthyroidism; 8. Patients with brain injury, depression, epilepsy, etc.; 9. Patients with organic brain lesions (e.g., cerebral hemorrhage, tumor, cyst) identified by routine MRI scans; 10. Patients with contraindications to MRI scans, such as implanted metal devices or claustrophobia.
