Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Healthy Young Control Group: Aged 18-60 years. Older Adult Group: Aged 60-85 years. 2. Provision of informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Concomitant severe cardiac, hepatic, pulmonary, renal, hematologic, endocrine, neurological, or autoimmune diseases. 2. Active respiratory, gastrointestinal, or urinary tract infections. 3. History of abdominal surgery (excluding appendectomy). 4. Recent use (within 1 month) of antibiotics or systemic corticosteroids. 5. Recent use (within 2 weeks) of intestinal microecological agents, laxatives, or antidiarrheal drugs for >3 consecutive days. 6. Pregnancy or lactation. 7. Severe psychiatric disorders (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder).
