Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Male aged 60 and above; 2. Non-cardiac surgery is planned to be performed under general anesthesia; 3. Sign the informed consent form;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.History of dementia, schizophrenia, or Parkinson’s disease. 2.ASA physical status = IV. 3.Severe hepatic dysfunction (Child–Pugh class C). 4.Severe renal dysfunction requiring pre-operative dialysis. 5.Men with pituitary or testicular disorders, or those currently using androgens, anti-androgens, 5a-reductase inhibitors, estrogens, anti-estrogens, or progestogens. 6. Participants with pre-existing delirium or cognitive impairment: defined by MMSE score 6 years of education).
