Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >= 18 years. 2.Unilateral lesion of differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC), staged as cT1–T2N1aM0. 3.Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status score of 0–1.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.History of thyroid surgery. 2.Clinical evidence of lateral neck lymph node metastasis (cN1b) or distant metastasis (cM1). 3.Bilateral or multifocal thyroid carcinoma; aggressive histological subtypes. 4.Severe comorbidities. Pregnant or breastfeeding women
