18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male patients aged 18–60 years; 2. Clinically diagnosed with unilateral primary inguinal hernia; 3. Scheduled for elective TAPP (transabdominal preperitoneal) repair; 4. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification I–III; 5. Voluntary participation with written informed consent provided;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Bilateral inguinal hernia, recurrent inguinal hernia, or femoral hernia; 2. Concomitant conditions that significantly increase intra-abdominal pressure, such as massive ascites, acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or large benign prostatic hyperplasia causing chronic urinary retention; 3. Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, coagulopathy, or systemic immune disorders; 4. History of previous surgery or trauma in the ipsilateral inguinal region; 5. Presence of testicular pathology (e.g., testicular tumor, severe varicocele, cryptorchidism); 6. Cognitive or psychiatric disorders that preclude compliance with study follow-up.
