Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1)Diagnosed with drug-refractory hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. 2)Scheduled to undergo the modified Morrow procedure. 3)Availability of pre-operative cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) images. 4)Age >= 14 and <= 80 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1)Presence of any surgical contraindications (e.g., uncontrolled infection, irreversible severe pulmonary hypertension, etc.). 2)Pre-operative left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) < 0.3. 3)Previous history of Morrow procedure. 4)Poor-quality pre-operative echocardiographic images that preclude accurate assessment of the left ventricular outflow tract pressure gradient. 5)Concurrent acute myocardial infarction with onset within less than 7 days. 6)Comorbid with severe hepatic, renal, or pulmonary failure, or any other disease with a life expectancy of < 1 year. 7)Requirement for concomitant other complex cardiac surgical procedures.
