Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Case group: Patients diagnosed with colorectal polyps by colonoscopy in the Department of Gastroenterology of this hospital were collected. For patients whose histopathological examination results included two or more different types, all cases containing tubular adenoma, tubular villous adenoma and villous adenoma were classified into the adenoma group. Control group: Family members of patients with age and gender matching who had no intestinal-related diseases after colonoscopy were selected.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The patient refused to participate in this project. 2. The patient has cognitive impairment and is unable to cooperate with the researcher. 3. Patients diagnosed with familial adenomatous polyposis or hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer, or those with a clear familial genetic predisposition in the family, and those with other digestive system diseases or anorectal diseases; 4. Infectious diseases; Such as acute and chronic infections of the respiratory tract, digestive tract, urinary system, reproductive system, etc. 5. Those with a history of systemic diseases: Those with severe lesions in vital organs such as the heart, brain, liver and kidneys, such as organ dysfunction: such as liver cirrhosis, renal failure, etc. (those with severe insufficiency of heart, liver and kidney functions); 6. Immune diseases: such as connective tissue diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, etc. 7. Blood system diseases (with primary dyslipidemia or taking lipid-regulating drugs in the past 3 months); 8. Malignant tumors, those who have received radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment; 9.BMI less than 18.5kg/m ² or BMI greater than 32kg/m ² or severe malnutrition; 10. Complicated with chronic metabolic diseases such as diabetes (including type 1 and type 2) and gout; 11. Patients with a history of gastrointestinal surgery or intestinal surgery due to polyps or tumors in the past; 12. Pregnant and lactating women; 13. Patients with edentulous jaws; 14. Patients who have had periodontal treatment in the past six months; 15. Patients with fixed orthodontic appliances in their mouths; 16. Within the past month, probiotics, microecological live bacteria preparations, antibiotics, metformin, proton pump inhibitors, berberine, and laxatives have been used.
