18 Years to 90 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18–90 years; 2. Presenting with one or more clinical symptoms (intracranial pressure elevation symptoms, impaired consciousness, limb movement disorders, or other haemorrhage-related neurological deficits) and radiological diagnosis (CT or MRI) of CSDH; 3. Radiological evidence of unilateral haematoma with midline shift exceeding 5mm or maximum haematoma thickness exceeding 10mm;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Life expectancy less than 1 year; 2.Subjects unable to undergo follow-up; 3.Bilateral CSDH; 4.Previous surgical interventions for CSDH including operative treatment; 5.Acute subdural hematoma; 6.Previous coronary stent or valve surgery; 7.Uncontrolled hemorrhagic disease or hematologic disorde; 8.CT or MRI evidence showing intracranial tumor or space-occupying lesion compressing the brain; 9.Inability to tolerate general anesthesia or surgery.
