Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age>= 18 years, and in good systemic health. 2.Subjects with tooth loss in the posterior mandible scheduled for implant restoration, presenting with buccal keratinized mucosa width (KMW) < 2 mm, and who are indicated for and accept correction via apically positioned flap (APF) vestibuloplasty. 3.The edentulous area is a non-free-end saddle, involving 1 to 3 missing tooth positions. 4.The patient agrees to participate in the study and provides signed informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnant or lactating women. 2.Subjects where the surgical site cannot avoid the mental foramen. 3.Subjects requiring bone augmentation surgery in the intended implant site. 4.Subjects with a history of mucogingival surgery in the target area (e.g., free gingival graft, connective tissue graft). Subjects who have undergone radiotherapy in the head and neck region. 5.Subjects with systemic diseases affecting healing, such as uncontrolled diabetes (HbA1c > 7.0%), immunodeficiencies, or coagulation disorders. 6.Heavy smokers (smoking > 10 cigarettes per day).
