Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients who met the clinical diagnostic criteria for classic NA, defined as an acute or subacute onset of severe neuropathic pain in the limb, followed within hours to days by focal motor weakness; 2.Patients with minimal or no pain at onset but a clinical phenotype consistent with typical NA, characterized by multifocal distribution of weakness and monophasic disease progression; 3.Electrophysiological studies revealed denervation potentials in muscles innervated by the affected nerves; 4.Surgical intervention; 5.Age > 16 years; 6.Provided informed consent for baseline assessment and agreed to comply with scheduled follow-up evaluations.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Muscle paralysis caused by myogenic factors; 2. Traumatic nerve paralysis; 3. Compressive nerve paralysis; 4. Neuropathy caused by vasculitis (systemic and non-systemic), infectious and inflammatory diseases, and metabolic diseases; 5. Hereditary diseases involving the peripheral nervous system (CMT, HNPP, HNA); 6. Tumors involving the peripheral nervous system.
