Interventions

Experimental group:Participants received an AI-based online exercise prescription featuring aerobic, resistance, and balance training, along with health education and home rehabilitation guidance.
Control group:Participants received video-based interventions, health education, and home-based rehabilitation following identical exercise prescriptions.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Meets diagnostic criteria for sarcopenia; (2) Voluntarily participates in the trial and signs informed consent; (3) Age 60 years or older; (4) Pre-trial clearance via Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire or physician approval; (5) Able to communicate verbally and complete questionnaires; (6) Capable of accessing WeChat and the internet via smartphone, or with family assistance.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with neurological disorders, severe musculoskeletal disorders causing significant movement impairment, severe cardiopulmonary disease, or advanced or active cancer; (2) Participation in other studies involving systematic exercise training; (3) Regular exercise program participation at least twice weekly (minimum 20 minutes per session) within the past six months; (4) Inability to comprehend or respond to questions, or complete questionnaires, due to subjective or objective reasons.
