65 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients voluntarily participating in the study and providing written informed consent; (2) Patients of either sex aged 65–75 years; (3) American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification II or III; (4) Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score >=24 one day before surgery, without speech or communication impairment, and with an education level sufficient to complete the preoperative cognitive assessment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) History of neurological diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and other related disorders; (2) Inability to cooperate with and complete the preoperative MMSE assessment; (3) Long-term use of opioids or psychotropic medications; (4) Contraindications to spinal anesthesia; (5) History of major surgery within the past 6 months.
